Cover Progress

So this afternoon I received the fully shaded with background copy of my cover for The Cerberus Rebellion.

All that is left to do is have the image colored and add the typography.

I’m going to have the uniforms black with red accents. The flag will also be black with the Cerberus in red.

So, what do you think?

  1. I freakin’ love this cover – very nice artwork. Plenty of space for the title at the top without marring the image.

    • Yeah, I’m VERY happy with the artists I contracted for this. I have them lined up for the next 3 covers so I keep the consistency of the images. I can’t wait for the color copy and for my wife to do typography magic.

  2. Hey man, I have to say that is a MEAN cover, I’m hugely impressed 🙂 who did it for you? How much would I expect to pay for them to do me one?

I was also wondering if, having written a novel yourself (which I presume you set in a fantasy world), you’d consider doing an interview for my blog?

    • I contracted that through ladystar.net aka heavy cat web design. That one ran me around $250 because of the detail. They quoted me up to $300 for something more intricate.

My Griffins and Gunpowder universe is most definitely a fantasy world and I’d love to do an interview. Shoot me a message via my contact page and I’ll get a hold of you asap.
